Since he was settled in, Jake decided to take a tour around the new school, see what everything would be like. As he walked through the front field of the school, Jake decided to work a little with his powers. He was still trying to get the fire starting to work out, but it would always slip, or not start. So, he brought out a lighter, and began to work with it. He was in the basics of just able to hold a fire ball in his hand, and make it dance a little, and resist wind, and water from distroying it. He accidentally bumped into someone, making the flame go out. He faced the person he bumped into. “Sorry. Didn’t watch where I was going,” he said as he dusted off his hands by gently smacking them together.
